BIOS settings
Enter the BIOS by pressing the F2 key on boot. Please change the following settings in the BIOS:
Click Power Management, 'Wake on LAN', LAN Only.
Click Power Management, Deep Sleep Control, Disabled.
For PXE boot to a Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) operating system, please change the following:
In the BIOS, select System Configuration, Integrated NIC.
Tick the Enable UEFI Network Stack box.
Network driver settings
Press the Windows and R keys.
Type devmgmt.msc and press Enter.
Expand 'Network adapters'.
Right-click the network controller and select Properties.
Click the Advanced tab.
Under Property, select the options given below:
Click 'Wake on Magic Packet' and from the Value drop-down menu, select Enabled.
Click Energy Efficient Ethernet and from the Value drop-down menu, select Disabled.
Click Green Ethernet and from the Value drop-down menu, select Disabled.
Click the Power Management tab.
Tick the 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power' box.
Tick the 'Allow this device to wake the computer' box.
Tick the 'Only allow a magic packet to wake the computer' box.
